Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.

I think I might be pushing the category a bit, but nothing seemed to fit.
A picture done from a live model for two 3 hour sessions. It was a project to practice 2-point perspective (which can kinda be seen in the tile pattern on the ground.) I chose to do a study of the feet since it's something I need to practice on. The composition made it a bit difficult to make the 2-point perspective work, but I like it. There are a few things I need to fix, like the shading under the pant leg, and the details of the foot. |
